Description
My client, a software and services
provider for the food industry is looking to hire a part-time System Administrator
to oversee their IT needs.Weekly
workload will be varied, up to 20 hours, depending on need.
The
System Administrators responsibilities will include ongoing maintenance of six
servers and 12 workstations.
Candidates
must have at least two to three years experience, knowledge of Linux/Unix (servers),
Windows (workstations), VPN network experience, and a strong understanding of
network security. Knowledge of Windows Server and SQL Server is a plus.
Compensation
will be between $50 and $75 per hour plus a flat fee for ongoing system
surveillance to detect any problems.
