ALL SOURCE INTELLIGENCE ANALYST (TECHNOLOGY TARGETING)
Primary Responsibilities: This is an All-Source Intelligence Analyst position whose focus is research, analysis and assessment of new and emerging technologies that have the potential to significantly enhance or degrade current and/or future U.S. military capabilities. Technologies can include but are not limited to Information Systems, Sensors, Aeronautics, Electronics, Lasers and Optics, Ground and Marine Systems, Positioning and Navigation Systems, and Space Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting classified and open source (OSINT) research and reporting against the full spectrum of such technologies; for making intelligence judgments pertaining to the probability of a development, event, or trend, conveying degrees of likelihood and confidence levels based on the scope and quality of information gathered supporting such judgment.
The candidate will apply in-depth intelligence analytic skills to identify, assess, and report not only on the identified technologies, but also on the nature of the threat(s) from any collector affiliations that may arise from the research and other evidence collected on that technology. Collector affiliations include: Commercial, Government Affiliated entities (research institutes, laboratories, government funded universities, contractors representing government agencies), Individuals, and other unknown user affiliations. Candidate experience with and an awareness of foreign entity targeting of subject technologies in the U.S. industrial base will greatly assist in understanding the nature of the threats the U.S. faces and help to recognize and thus report on threat employed collector techniques.
The candidate will serve in a lead role, working alongside the client to shape and develop programs, and will also provide guidance to less experienced program personnel and train others in analyst techniques and procedures. As such, he will frequently interact with subordinates and supervisors, and functional peer groups at management and other levels.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate should possess a BS plus 6-8 years or a MS plus 4-6 years experience or a PhD plus 2-4 years related experience. The applicant should have an appreciable awareness of foreign entity targeting of new and emerging technologies in the U.S. industrial base and have counterintelligence experience as it relates to technology targeting. East Asia, Pacific, Near East, and South and Central Asia experience is desirable but not required.
Clearance: US Citizenship required. US Government TS/SCI level clearance is required for this position. Applicants will be subjected to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
